"I believe the children are our future,

Teach them well and let them lead the way,

Show them all the beauty they possess inside,

Give them a sense of pride to make it easier..."

(From "Greatest Love of All" by Linda Creed, Michael Masser and sung by Whitney Huston)

Educational therapy is supported, individualized, supplemental learning outside of the classroom.

As an educational therapist, my primary objective is to make students better learners. After all, learning is something that continues long after formal schooling ends! Unfortunately, the "one size fits all" approach in most schools does not take into account differences in learning abilities and styles.

Educational Therapy for Students in
Grades K-College
We are a Team!

Working as a team with the student, parents, teachers, and all other professionals who are involved in a student's life, I address the student's individual learning needs in a one-on-one setting. We work together to help the student achieve academic and/or behavior goals both within and outside of school.

Educational Therapy
Learning Disabilities or Learning Differences

Diagnosed learning disabilities such as dyslexia and dysgraphia, as well as deficits in attention, working memory, or executive functions, due to ASD, ADHD or other processing disoders impact how we learn.

In educational therapy I use personalized strategies, methods, games and technology to further develop reading, writing, spelling, math, organization and study skills for students who have any type of learning difference.
